You will need to find an off site location to obtain your hours either through beginning your own practice or from another employer or private practice agency.
One of the main stressors when looking for an LPC-Supervisor is wanting to get your provisional license as soon as possible to start accruing the hours needed for full licensure. LPC-Associates often feel rushed and end up picking someone only to leave shortly afterward once they've had time to find the perfect fit to gain their hours long-term. There is also often a concern of having to pay for supervision before you are getting paid or have any clients yet! It can feel so overwhelming that LPC-Associates often look for bargains instead what may be the best fit for you.
I offer a 2-month transitional LPC-Supervision package that can help you move a step closer to obtaining your LPC-Associate license and also give you time to find the right long-term site. We will meet all requirements for supervision by meeting for 4 hours per month, explore LPC Board Rules, work on getting your consent forms, intake paperwork compiled, discuss and review topics such as assessing for suicidal risk, substance abuse and explore topics you may want to learn more about. My motivation for offering supervision is to give back to others all the support and mentoring I was given. Choosing a supervisor is an important next step in your professional development. I have experience in a variety of settings which include: a mobile crisis team, 24 hour hotline assessing suicidal ideations, community agency, group therapy, facility-based care with substance abuse, general psych and eating disorder clients, managed care company and private practice.

- Payment for supervision is paid for two months in advance at $1000 total
- You may pay by credit card or apply using Care Credit. You can use the Care Credit calculator below to see how low your payments can be
- If you qualify, you can pay back the money interest free in up to 24 months
- No refunds provided if you move to a site earlier than the two months
- If you need more time, I offer week by week supervision at $100 per session until you transition to a new LPC-Supervisor
